SALEM- Mr. Ronald Arthur "Dud" Knuuttila 74 of Salem beloved husband of Patricia Ann (Miller) Knuuttila, died Saturday, November 10th, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by his family.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late William and Miriam (Pohju) Knuuttila. He was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem High School.

Mr. Knuuttila had been a self-employed construction worker for many years. More recently, Ron had been employed as a driver with Boston Coach. "Dud" enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas with his family. He was a lifelong and well known resident of the City of Salem. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his loving wife with whom he had been together for over forty years, Dud is survived by his sons, Ronnie Knuuttila and his wife Megan of Salem and Ron Knuuttila and his wife Janine of Danvers, his daughters, Michele Morris and her husband Brian of Amesbury, Luanne Lawrence and her husband Barry of South Burlington, Vt, and June Mcculloch and her husband Lee of Danvers, his five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, his brother, Richard "Babe" Knuuttila and his wife Joan of Florida, his sister–in-law , Irmgard Knuuttila of Florida, several nieces and nephews, his sister-in-law, Joan and John Mahoney and his brother-in-law Jack and Rita Miller. He was also the brother of the late William W. Knuuttila.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hour in The O'Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. in lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made in Ron's memory to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 017101.
