Joan A. (Dincecco) Mattogno

TOPSFIELD-Joan A. (Dincecco) Mattogno, 81 of Topsfield, passed away March 8, 2012 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, following a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of the late Rudoulph J. Mattogno with whom she shared 41 years of marriage.

Born in Swampscott, she was the daughter of the late James and Annette (McKennon) Dincecco. Joan was educated in the Lynn school system and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1947, where she was the editor of the school newspaper.

Joan spent her working career at the General Electric Company, and retired as Manager of personnel. At the age of 18 Joan married her best friend and lifetime soulmate, Rudolph " Rudy" Mattogno. Joan and Rudy built their home in Topsfield in 1956, and Joan remained living there until 2008.

Joan loved traveling with her husband, and they spent their vacation time driving around the country. Joan loved to go fast, she enjoyed many years of speedboating, and driving her Corvette. Joan's second home, was an all season house on Sebego Lake Maine, where she and Rudy treasured their private time boating, fishing, cooking and, and enjoying their life together.

Joan is survived by her brother James Dincecco and his wife Patricia of Marblehead, her niece Beth Aubin of Essex Junction Vermont; her nephew Mark Dincecco of Essex Vermont; and their children Bailey, Emma, and Alex.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held privately. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers.
